  • Referrals

The Chamber receives hundreds of calls and emails weekly, asking for referrals to different types of businesses, phone numbers and websites. The chamber provides information on Chamber Members ONLY.

  • Buyer's Guide

Each year, the Chamber distributes over 4,000 Buyer's Guides, which is the current Membership Directory of all Chamber Members. Each member receives a guide and all relocation packets include it as well. The Guide is literally the guide for anyone who is looking for goods or services in Hopkins County; it includes frequently called numbers, recreation, leisure, tourism, and entertainment information; a local map, plus an alphabetical listing of members, as well as a categorical listing of members.

  • Business Card Display

The Chamber offers free display space in the lobby to display your business cards or promotional literature.

  • Ribbon Cuttings

The Chamber's Ambassadors host a ribbon cutting ceremony for all new members. The ribbon cutting photo and description of the business will be highlighted in the Chamber Connection in the News Telegram; mentioned on KSST Radio in the weekly Chamber Report; displayed on the Chamber website and also featured in the quarterly newsletter.

  • Business After Hours

Each month a member business will host a Business After Hours Mixer which is a social and business networking event. These events have become very popular and are a great way to increase your network of business associates.

  • Website Listing

All businesses are displayed on the Chamber Website both alphabetically and categorically, with keyword search and cross-references, to help visitors easily locate your member information. Member business information includes name, contact, address, phone number, and fax number.

  • Chamber Connection Newsletter

The Chamber publishes a quarterly newsletter that includes notice of upcoming events, important community news, highlights of recent events, ribbon cuttings, and a listing of the newest Chamber Members.

  • Chamber Connection Weekly Article

The Chamber publishes an article highlighting what's going on in the Chamber for that week. It includes photos of ribbon cuttings and recent events, lists important Chamber and community events and also spotlights a Member Business of the Week. This article is published every Thursday in the local newspaper, as well as posted on numerous websites.

  • Business of the Week

In the Chamber Connection Weekly Article, one Member Business is selected as the Business of the Week. A sign is displayed in front of their business designating them as the chosen business. Their name, address and phone number are listed as well as a "Tip of the Week" from their business. All Chamber members' names are placed in a stew pot, and every Monday a new business is drawn.

  • Chamber Report on KSST

A weekly news report is recorded on the local radio station, similar to the Chamber Connection Article; the report is one more way to inform members of Chamber opportunities.

  • Networking

The Chamber offers many opportunities to meet other business professionals and community leaders to tell them about your business, if you take advantage of them. Whether it is an event, committee meeting, luncheon, social or volunteer opportunity, there is never a shortage of opportunities to expand your contact and improve your business.

  • Volunteers and Committees

The heart and soul of any non-profit organization are the volunteers! The Chamber offers many opportunities to volunteer or serve on important committees. Committees include: special events, government, tourism, leadership, education, agriculture, membership, workforce and transportation. (See Committees for more information)

  • Adult and High School Leadership Programs

This provides an opportunity for adults and high school seniors to learn about the community and the many aspects of the local amenities, city, county hospital, civic center, school districts, and local industry. The programs also develop leadership, teamwork and pride in the community and help the participants better understand how to get things accomplished in a dynamic and growing community!
