Douglas Intermediate School (903) 885-4516
Douglas is the educational home for all fifth-graders in the school district, is located on Calvert Street. Approximately 300 fifth grade students are enrolled on the campus each year. The principal is Tona Sue Hudson.

Austin Elementary (903) 885-4045
This campus is the oldest school in the district, located at 808 S. Davis Street, but is rich in history in Sulphur Springs. Austin houses approximately 180 students per year, with Dr. Juan Harrison serving as Principal.

Bowie is located at 1400 Mockingbird Lane, just south of I-30. This campus usually has approximately 350 students per year. In 2008, 6 schools in the state of Texas were nominated to receive the National Title I Distinguished School Award, and Bowie School was selected as one of two schools that received the Award at the National Title I Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. The principal at Bowie is Carol Worsham.
![]() Lamar Elementary School (903) 885-4550
Lamar, located at 825 Church Street, enrolls about 275 students per year with Rowena Johnson serving as principal. This campus has received the highest rating the state education agency's accountability ratings for nine years, and named a "Title I Distinguished School". In March of 2007, the Texas Education Agency recognized Lamar Elementary as a "distinguished performance school." Only 129 campuses in the state received this designation.

Travis is located at 130 Garrison Street. It generally has the largest elementary school enrollment in the district with around 380 students, annually. Kristin Monk serves as Principal.
